EGO - Exit of Golden Opportunity

Actually I was looking for a topic to put up in my blog, and I ended up deciding the title 'EGO'. I am not a pro in English so I searched in a dictionary, the meaning of EGO, so that I can put up something to share with you people. When I searched in an online dictionary it said "An exaggerated sense of self-importance; conceit" and "Appropriate pride in oneself; self-esteem".

Whatever the dictionaries and scholars say, for me EGO is the Exit of Golden Opportunity. Obviously, when you have an EGO, that will be the exit gate for your opportunities letting all your chances wasted.

Certainly everyone has some Egoism in them. Only sometimes, that too rarely, EGO will lead to a success. As an optimist, I would like to discuss some of the rare success stories. Some tasks may be really impossible for us, but a certain Ego in us will lead us to complete the task and attain a peak in our life. After reaching the next step in our life we should leave the EGO behind us, or we will be stagnant in that position. Since I oppose Adamant Egoism I don't want to discuss more on the few merits on EGO.

EGO not only lets you down in life but also destructs your environment and the nature. Let me discuss with you some different things I know. In a state, Ruling party will have EGO with opposition party they won't turn to their suggestions. Also Opposition party will try to complain the ruling party always, instead of cooperating with them and getting valuable plans for the people. Result, ruling party will be the opposition in the next election and same nature of opposition will be imposed on the ruling party. The particular state won't have any development in the end. This kind of Egoism will cause loss to a huge mass of the people.

During school days people used to have the 'topper' EGO. That is common between the school students because they are in the learning stage. They used to fight for silly things and they used to get them solved by themselves. All these kind of characters change once they enter into the college. Because college is the place where we learn things needed for living a pleasant life. But again, ego makes college life struggling. Perhaps school is the place to study and to build a solid foundation for our higher studies.

Let's keep the philosophical points aside; we will discuss the normal things that happen in our life. There is even more influence of ego in the friendship between people. This kind ego raises the questions like, "How come I am inferior to him/her?" in them. Because of the ego these questions keep on affecting the friendship and eventually people lose their friends.

If a person finds right person or lovable person to share life, they won't reveal it immediatly. Because of some unnecessary ego, they won't tell the other person about their interest. Though both of them have interests on each other they don't reveal their love. That's why I had mentioned early in the passage that EGO means the "Exit of Golden Opportunity".

Because of the ego we lose opportunities, partners, positions, people and many more important things in our life, and what else. Let's kill the ego in us and give a try to be a lovable and approachable person to others.

I don't have any intention to force this message to the readers, I just want to share my views which I came across in my life.
